A. Core Competence

1. Respect and appreciate the teachings of the religion he adheres to.

H. Learning Activities

a. Preliminary activities

1. Students respond to greetings and questions from the teacher relate to the conditions and previous learning
2. Students receive information about the relevance of previous learning with the learning that will be carried out.
3. Students receive competency information, metrics, goals, benefits, and learning steps to be implemented
4. To attract interest, students listen to poetry readings with environmental themes entitled "Birth Land" by K.H Ramadan.
5. Students are given an understanding of the observation report text that is associated with phenomena that occur around students. The teacher inspires students' awareness to love the environment

b. Core activities

Exploration

1. Students observe a picture about the environment.
2. Students answer questions related to what is seen in the picture and knowledge of students about the Indonesian natural environment or the environment that surrounds students.

Elaboration

1. Students take a lottery that contains linguistic terms. Then, each student mentions the same word, united in a small group.
2. Students get a photocopy of the observation text.
3. With an attitude of responsibility, caring, responsiveness, and polite students in groups read and answer questions about the contents of the text of the observation results.
4. One group reports the results of the discussion.
5. Other groups respond or respond responsibly and politely.
6. Students fill out exercises in the form of matching sentences and words whose contents are related to the text.
7. Students with the teacher discuss the results of the exercise.
8. Confirmation
9. Together with the teacher, students identify the obstacles experienced when understanding the contents of the text of the observation
10. Students listen to feedback and reinforcement from the teacher for their statements about obstacles in understanding the contents of the text of the observation
11. The best students get an award from the teacher.
